The actual size of the painting is listed in the description area of the product page. If you click on “additional information” and see that the size differs or that the weight seems high for a painting, here is what is happening. In order for the website plugin to properly calculate the package for shipping, I must tweak these settings to get the correct price to show at checkout. For instance, if a painting is 24″x24″, I have to use a 30″x30″ box to ship, so the dimensions in this additional area section reflects the box that it ships in. The weight is also increased because the amount of shipping charged at checkout for those items are too low using the actual weight of the painting. We have adjusted the weight to compensate for those delicate/heavy/large items that require special packaging. I do keep an eye on the shipping cost and what you paid.
